Ever since I discovered the concept of passive income, I’ve been hooked. There’s just something exciting about seeing money flow in without trading every hour of your day for it. The first time I received a small dividend, I was honestly more thrilled than if I had worked overtime for the same amount—it felt like my future self was paying me for being patient.

My Story – From Ordinary to Financially Independent

Hi, I’m jurian, 29 years old, and on a journey to build passive income and financial independence. My path hasn’t been straightforward—I’ve worked in different jobs, tried out many things, and learned that creating the life you want doesn’t require a perfect background or a huge salary.

For a long time, I thought investing was something only bankers, economists, or people with lots of money could do. I never studied finance, and my paycheck has never been anything extraordinary. But over time, I realized that wasn’t true. What really matters is consistency, curiosity, and the willingness to take small steps forward.

I still remember the moment I received my very first dividend. The amount wasn’t big—in fact, it was less than what I might spend on a coffee. But the feeling was completely different from payday at work. Instead of exchanging hours for money, I was being rewarded simply for putting my money to work. That tiny dividend meant more to me than a whole day of overtime, because it showed me the potential of passive income.

That’s when I knew I wanted to dive deeper. Since then, I’ve been exploring dividend investing, experimenting with building passive income streams, and documenting the process along the way. I share the wins, the setbacks, and everything I learn, because I believe financial independence should feel real and achievable—not reserved for experts or people with big salaries.
