✨Why I Started My FIRE journey at 29✨

Chasing Passive Income & Independence

Hi, I’m Jurian, 29 years old, and I want to share why I started my journey toward financial independence and passive income. My path hasn’t been straightforward—I’ve worked in different jobs, tried many things, and learned that creating the life you want doesn’t require a perfect background or a huge salary.

Growing up, money was often tight. I remember thinking even as a kid: there has to be a way to make life a little less stressful. That curiosity stuck with me, and over time I started exploring ways to make money work for me instead of only working for money.

For a long time, I thought investing was something only experts or people with a lot of money could do. I never studied finance, and my paycheck has never been extraordinary. But slowly I realized it’s not about starting with a fortune—it’s about consistency, curiosity, and taking small steps forward.

One of the moments that really opened my eyes was receiving my first dividend. The amount was small—less than what I might spend on a coffee—but the feeling was completely different from a normal payday. For the first time, my money was working for me, instead of me working for money. That tiny dividend showed me the potential of passive income, and I was hooked.

I’ve also been reading a lot to educate myself:

Along the way, I document everything I learn on my YouTube channel and here on this blog. I share the wins, the setbacks, and the lessons, because I believe financial independence is achievable for anyone, even without a high salary or finance background.

This is just the beginning of my journey. Through this blog and my videos, I hope to inspire and help others who want to take control of their financial future, learn about passive income, and start making small steps toward financial freedom.
